Vroom! Term starts again!

Dark matter exists, probably, almost certainly.

I'm attending a course this term on supersymmetric field theories taught by Kentaro Hori. Finally, after spending a summer studying something (generalized complex geometry) which is said to be the natural setting for supersymmetry, I'll learn what the hell it is.

I'm also attending 19th century literature, machine learning, and a few other courses. I'm hoping it'll be that kind of year.

I'm becoming organized through technology---the other bottlenecks in my productivity have been dealt with and it's on to this next frontier.

I'm starting a salon! I'd better get on this. Venues, people, entertainment... so much to think about. It requires force of will to make it what I hope it.

How do I add to the comments on my own blog?

If I get some time this week I'm going to do some more work on my language, and then I'll have an excuse to do a first post about it. I can copy-and-paste from my extensive code commenting so I should be able to assemble something substantial quite quickly. In fact, rapid development that doesn't put out garbage is a great thing in general. I hope to incrementally develop a proper exposition of the language principles as I write the compiler.

So much to say! Maybe I'll say more soon.
